Ezidebit was established in 1998, Ezidebit Australia as it was then known, offered the first specialised automated Direct Debit and Credit Card transactions service in Australia. 2. How is my money protected? |
|

Your money is independently protected. Every customer payment is deposited into a Trust Account before it is transferred directly into your bank account, so you know your income is protected. We then transfer those funds to you, on a daily basis. As an Australian Financial Services Licensee, we are required to have our company independently audited and reviewed every year. < Back to Top |

3. Does Ezidebit have an Australian Financial Services Licence? |

1. How soon can I start a Direct Debit? |

We can commence a direct debit payment the next day if required. All direct debit forms received at Ezidebit by 4pm QEST are loaded into our system that day. So all Direct Debit Requests loaded via your management software are automatically loaded into our system that day. < Back to Top

2. How often do I receive payment? |
|
|
Ezidebit is one of the few companies that deposits cleared payments daily into your nominated account. You can however elect to receive deposits on a weekly basis if preferred. For easy budgeting, “Ezidebit Online” also displays when you can expect to receive payment. < Back to Top

3. Does Ezidebit make sure funds are cleared? |
|
|
Ezidebit provides cleared payments to your business. Ezidebit’s back office systems manage all dishonours and technical returns before outputting to your business. < Back to Top

4. How do customers cancel their payments? |
|
|
Your customer should contact your business if they wish to cancel their payment schedule. You can action the cancellation immediately through Ezidebit Online. You can also send us the cancellation request via fax, email or even contact our Client Support team by phone. < Back to Top

5. Can I alter my customers’ payment term? |
|
|
Yes, the contract of payment is between you and your customer so if a change is required, our system provides you with the flexibility to do so. Most changes can be performed online, but some changes may require a new direct debit form to be completed. < Back to Top

6. Can I have varying payment set-ups for different customers? |
|
|
Yes, each customer is treated individually which means you can tailor your customers’ payments to best suit their situation. Payments can commence on any working day at your or the customer’s desired frequency. 7. What happens if a payment fails? |
|
|
Ezidebit notifies you immediately of any failed payments to assist with swift follow up. Ezidebit will also notify the customer of the failed payment by SMS advising them to contact your business to arrange for a follow-up payment. 1. What type of reports does Ezidebit offer? |

Ezidebit offers a number of easy to read reports detailing payments to your business including tax invoices, deposit summaries, new customer notifications, and failed payment reporting. 2. Can Ezidebit integrate with my management system? |

|

Ezidebit process payments on behalf of businesses. If "Ezidebit" appears on your statement, it is likely that you are paying a business for a product or service, and the business you are paying processes its payments through Ezidebit. Consider the amount being debited to see if you may have arranged for something like gym fees, childcare centre fees, or rent to be debited. 5. Can I alter or cancel my direct debit? |
|
|
Ezidebit offers you the flexibility to alter your direct debits. All you need to do is contact the business to whom you are making the payment, and notify them that you wish to change your payment details or cancel the direct debit schedule. 6. Will this give the billing company access to my account? |
